Since you got this far …
… I have a small favor to ask.
Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
See more details about what you can do to help in this blog post.
The Global FlyFisher was updated to a new publishing system early March 2025, and there may still be a few glitches while the last bits get fixed. If you meet anything that doesn't work, please let me know.

Is this a "photoshop
Is this a "photoshopfish" :-) The mouth/ eye relationship as well as the tail area say sea run trout but the very few spots at the body as well as at the gills say salmon.
Maybe, a hybrid, or more likely a salmon escaped from a coastal fish farm.
I had some discussio
I had some discussion with my father over this fish. But if you say this is a 100% seatrout, i'll gladly believe that. I was confused by the enormous belly of this beatiful fish. But again Martin, well done. I'll have to make some more hours on the coast for such a fish of a lifetime. Nice to see how they really look, when you do not lose them :-) Hope to see more of those fish!!
